South Florida's International Interior Design Association had an event titled Art By Design, which showcased the creative talents of our organization's professionals. I presented three sketches of doors from Morocco.
Two of my pieces were purchased, which is always a thrill.
Only this one above remains.
I did all three sketches on a plane ride; I had a bad head cold, only intensified by the cabin pressure.
The constant flow of virgin bloody marys and my pen and sketchbook were my only refuge.
I think that which you still manage to keep doing despite discomfort says a lot about its importance in your life.
